Polished finish - a glossy surface which brings out the full color & character of the natural stone.
Honed finish - A Satin smooth surface finish with little or no gloss, recommended for commercial floors.
Brushed finish - A smooth, undulating finish achieved by stiff metal or plastic brushes on spinning heads.

Thermal finish - a surface treatment applied via intense heat flaming
